zu-art: Based on a discussion I had the other day… This Older!AU does things to my feels. :( (yes, I changed Martín’s hair back cause it made him look too much like France pfff- just pretend it was a ~phase~) counting the hours And so, he hides his disappointment with a light laugh and the excuse of getting dinner before it gets late. Martín leaves the balcony with a slight pain on his chest, the kind of pain you get when you realize that the things you so strongly long for are things you probably won’t be able to share with the person that has been sitting with you at the table during all of those years. It’s been a long journey, wild since the beginning, full of their combined efforts to make it work since their younger years. Once, he would complain about Luciano being all over the place on the bed, now he’s just glad he has that idiot to warm him up during the hazy nights. And so, he hides his disappointment with a carefully crafted smile and wonders how long he’ll endure the fact that the thing he wishes the most is something Luciano sees as something impossible. Martín is older, yes, and he has been tamed, in a way. But he’ll always be true to himself. And if Luciano says they can’t be parents, if he denies something as big as that to him, then he’ll probably walk away. Martín does not like being denied something. He also doesn’t enjoy unfulfillment. (And so, he’s counting the hours.)
